Understanding the Cost of Your Implants

woman paying with credit card

Although All-on-4 dental implants are not as affordable as traditional dentures, they are less expensive than traditional implants. This is largely because fewer implants are needed to support your denture. Plus, many patients working with our dentist in Ridgewood, NJ, will not need to factor preliminary surgical treatment into their total costs.

To help you afford your remaining out-of-pocket dentistry expenses, we can help arrange financing through CareCredit®, Lending Club, and Proceed Finance.

Save Money on Treatment as a Continuing Education Course Patient

Our patients in Bergen County can select from two possible implant treatment tracks at our Ridgewood, NJ, office. One option is to undergo implant treatment as a private patient. With the other option, patients can save money by undergoing treatment as a part of our continuing education (CE) course

Private Patient

Private patients will receive treatment in an ordinary private setting. You can make appointments and procedures at your convenience, giving you a shorter treatment time on average than our CE patients. We recommend this option for Bergen County patients who have less flexibility in their schedule and wish to have more privacy between themselves and their doctor. Private implant patients will only work individually with Dr. Jin Ha Joung and/or Dr. Mark Samani and remain on their own schedule.

CE Course Patient

Those who decide to participate as a CE course patient will save about one-third on the cost of their implants. The total cost is set at an all-inclusive price per arch, depending on your case. CE patients will be part of a live patient learning course with participating and observing dentists. You will also be videotaped and photographed to effectively document your case for educational and PR purposes.

All-on-4 Is a Groundbreaking Innovation

All-on-4 is an advanced technique in which four implants are strategically placed in the jawbone to support a full denture in the upper or lower jaw. This dental implant technique is a safe, effective solution for patients who are missing most or all of their teeth and lack sufficient bone tissue to support traditional dental implants. We use ZimVie dental implants, a brand that has been trusted for over 30 years for their customizable options and incredible results.

All-On-4 Implants

During a traditional implant procedure, your dentist will embed six to eight implants in your jawbone to support a full-arch denture. All-on-4 implants support a full denture with just four strategically placed implants. By carefully placing the posterior dental implants at an angle to maximize contact with remaining bone tissue, this approach eliminates the need for a preliminary bone graft in many cases. Rather than adding months to your dental implant treatment timeline, All-on-4 can give you a fully restored and functional smile in one appointment.

Dr. Samani Explains Important Features of the All-on-4 Procedure

Dr. Samani explains how the All-on-4 procedure has evolved over time and at Ridgewood Dental Associates in particular. He discusses key points regarding candidacy, projected procedure timeline, and more.

The Benefits of All-on-4

Shorter Treatment Timeline

All-on-4 implants provide many of the same benefits as traditional implants in a shorter time. Because this surgical technique makes the greatest use of your remaining bone tissue, most of our Ridgewood patients can qualify for All-on-4 treatment without a bone graft. This can reduce your total treatment timeline by several months.

Immediately Restored Function

Since All-on-4 implants can usually support a denture immediately following placement, you can experience a balanced bite, restored chewing function, and clearer speech almost right away. Dentures always take some getting used to, but when you choose All-on-4, you can arrive for surgery with a compromised smile and leave ready to start a whole new phase of restored oral function in your life.

Better Self-Confidence

Let's face it - it's not easy to smile with confidence when you are missing teeth. When you choose to replace your missing teeth with a denture supported by All-on-4 implants, you can feel proud of your natural-looking smile. Meanwhile, you'll never have to worry about your dentures coming loose while you are trying to speak or chew because the dental implants will keep them firmly in place at all times.

What to Expect When Receiving All-on-4

Every procedure we provide is customized to a given patient's individualized needs. That being said, here is what to generally expect when receiving this life-changing procedure:

Assessment & Planning

Your dentist will first use advanced CT scanning technology to ensure that you have enough dense, healthy bone to support implants. While these implants do not require as much bone tissue as traditional dental implants, they still require a sufficient amount of tissue. Your dentist will then digitally map your mouth, identifying the best places to insert the implants.

Anesthesia

Your comfort is our priority, so your dentist will make sure you're comfortable before beginning your surgery. They will administer a local anesthetic and optional sedation. We offer nitrous oxide and IV sedation with our board-certified dental anesthesiologist.

Surgical Placement

We will precisely surgically embed the All-on-4 implants in your jaw, taking care to maximize the available bone tissue. We then utilize in-house milling technology to provide temporary restorations so you will have functional teeth as you wait five to seven months for the implants to fully fuse with your jaw.

Final Restoration

Once the All-on-4 implants have integrated with your jaw, you will return for a final appointment during which our dentists will place your chosen dental restoration.
