Dental Implants
Missing teeth have a negative effect on the appearance of your smile and your ability to bite, chew, and speak.
Dental implants fill the gaps left by missing teeth and provide a secure foundation for natural-looking crowns, bridges, or dentures.

What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are prosthetic tooth roots. They are usually made of biocompatible titanium. Our dentists can surgically insert implants through your gums and into your jawbone. Over time, dental implants fuse with your bone and become part of your anatomy. They are then able to support dental restorations like crowns, bridges, or dentures.

The Benefits of Dental Implants
Jawbone Support
Tooth loss results in the loss of jawbone density over time. By providing a new root structure, dental implants prevent bone loss and restore normal bite function.Long-Lasting Results
According to the Institute for Dental Implant Awareness, dental implants have a 95 percent success rate for long-term use. With proper care and oral hygiene, dental implants can last 40 years or longer.Improved Self-Confidence
Jawbone atrophy and tooth loss affect your facial features. The inability to eat solid foods can also impact your self-image. Dental implants restore your confidence and independence, helping you look and feel younger.Ready to Restore Your Smile? Schedule an Appointment Today

View On GoogleDental Implants Offer Flexible Treatment Options We Can Provide Both Traditional Implants and All-on-4
Traditional Implants
Traditional implant dentistry involves placing an implant where there used to be a tooth root. The process requires two oral surgeries. The first oral surgery places the implant, with a second surgery later to place the abutment. If you lack sufficient jawbone density, you'll need an additional preliminary grafting surgery.
All-on-4
All-on-4® is designed to support a full denture for people missing most or all of their teeth. With All-on-4, the implants are placed in a single oral surgery, with no need for separate abutment placement. Only four implants are used, strategically placed in order to make the most out of the patient's jawbone structure (bone grafting is usually not required).
Types of Dental Implants
Immediate Load Implants
Immediate load dental implants allow our dentists to place a temporary restoration following implant placement. This provides you with a restored smile in a single appointment. The temporary restoration will be switched out for a permanent crown once the healing process is complete. While immediate load implants are a quick way to fill the gap in your smile, they are reserved for patients with good jawbone density.
Mini Dental Implants
Much slimmer than traditional implants, mini implants require less invasive surgery and are typically utilized to stabilize a set of low dentures. Mini implants are a good option for you if you are missing most or all of your teeth and have low jawbone density. It is important to keep in mind that because of their size, mini implants cannot withstand the same biting forces and chewing pressure as traditional implants.
Dental Implant Restorations

Dental Crown
The simplest restoration, the gap left by a missing tooth can be effectively replaced with a single dental implant and a durable dental crown.
Dental Bridge
Using two implants placed on either side of the gap in your smile, an implant-supported bridge can restore up to four consecutive missing teeth.
Denture
Whether you are missing numerous teeth or a complete dental arch, a partial or full denture can address the needs of patients missing more than four consecutive teeth.
Implant Placement Options
Endosteal Implants
The most common type of dental implant, endosteal implants are placed directly into the jawbone tissue. Endosteal implants protect your jawbone from further atrophy but require good bone density. If you have low bone density, you may require a bone graft before placing endosteal implants.
Subperiosteal Implants
If you do not have the bone density to support endosteal implants, subperiosteal implants can be placed on or above the jawbone. Subperiosteal implants are a good option if you are not interested in rebuilding your jawbone with preparatory treatments such as a bone graft.
