Soft Tissue Management

Is an individualized plan to elimatinate infection of the gums and root surfaces. An appropriate plan will be chosen by your dentist, hygienist and you. The hygienist will perform the treatments to help eliminate infection, make recommendations to help you more effectively clean your teeth daily, and guide you through our efforts to achieve and maintain oral health.

The treatment plan are done in multiple visits which includes:

  1. digital xrays (if due or needed)
  2. full mouth debridement/ therapeutic scaling- reduces inflammation for next visit
  3. gum measurement evaluation
  4. irrigation with antimicrobial rinse
  5. home theraphy instructions
  6. scaling and root planning (if needed)
  7. Arestin placement if needed
  8. polish
  9. fluoride treatment
