Porcelain Laminates or Veneers

There is little or no preparation of the tooth, very often there is no need for shots or drilling. Also, because they adhere to porcelain, they can be applied to existing crowns and bridgework to revitalize them.

Porcelain laminates or veneers are thin, semi transparent shells, attached by bonding to the front of healthy but unattractive tooth. They can be used to close spaces between teeth, cover broken or chipped teeth, or cover permanently stained or crooked teeth.

Laminates can be completed in only two visits! On the first appointment, teeth are contoured by the Doctor with an artist's eye and a Dentist's skill. An impression is then taken to custom make the porcelain shells for each tooth. On the second visit the laminates are applied to the teeth.
