Traditional implant dentistry involves placing an implant where there used to be a tooth root. The process requires two oral surgeries. The first oral surgery places the implant, with a second surgery later to place the abutment. If you lack sufficient jawbone density, you'll need an additional preliminary grafting surgery.
All-on-4® Dental Implants
All-on-4 dental implants are designed to support a full denture for people missing most or all of their teeth. With All-on-4, the implants are placed in a single oral surgery, with no need for separate abutment placement. Only four implants are used, strategically placed in order to make the most out of the patient's jawbone structure (bone grafting is usually not required).

Alternatives to traditional dental implants can provide patients with quicker treatment timelines, improved eligibility, and include:
Immediate Load Implants

Step-by-Step: From Implant Placement to Final Restoration
The traditional dental implant process from beginning to end lasts about four to seven months. Here is an overview of the important steps in the treatment process:
You'll only have to visit one practice for the entirety of your implant treatment. We are able to complete each stage in-house.
Placing the Implants
The initial oral surgery involves securely anchoring the titanium implants into the jawbone. Temporary implant restorations may be provided at this early stage of treatment.
Osseointegration
In the three to six months after surgery, the titanium implants fuse with the surrounding bone. This process is known as "osseointegration" and is essential for implant success.
Placing the Abutment
Abutments are placed in a second surgery after osseointegration is complete. The abutments are visible through the gums, connecting the implants with the final restorations.
